Connecting for Clarity

Relationships can be difficult to navigate. In addition, life presents stressors and challenges that can appear to be insurmountable. Seeking therapy during those times can provide relief from emotional pain, help develop coping skills, and explore emotions or behaviors that may be keeping you from achieving the life situation you desire.

I am Katy Crouch, MSW, LICSW and for the past 28 years I have assisted clients in the mental health / medical field.

I specialize in working with people going through life transitions, individuals, couples and young adults.  As a Generalist with an emphasis in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I tailor my approach to each individual I work with. I want to fully understand your story; however, I recognize it is important for you to feel comfortable. My first job is to help you become comfortable enough to begin sharing your story.  Without a therapeutic partnership, it is difficult to make progress and build the trust necessary for growth and change.

I’ve worked in a variety of therapeutic settings, including hospitals, hospice, private practice, and mental health and senior agencies. During my time spent as a medical Social Worker, I assisted patients in a variety of modalities, some being  crisis intervention, task oriented therapy, and end of life care.

Throughout my career I have served people across the age spectrum, from young adults to seniors. I offer my patients solution based therapy and mindfulness, person- centered therapy. My approach is personalized to meet individual needs through the use of active listening, empathy, and respect.
